Extended Care durning the school year.
Extended Care is for those parents who need supervision for their children before and/or after school. Our child care is an extension of the school day and is available only to students enrolled at WCS. Extended Care opens at 7:00am and closes at 6:00pm. We provide playground supervision and a homework room from 4:00-5:00pm. This time is designed for children to work alone on their homework. It is the child's responsibility to use this time when needed.
We also provide an afternoon snack at 3:00pm. There are to be no outside food or drinks in Extended Care.
We open at 7:00am and ask that you wait with your children in the car until the room is opened and blinds are up. We will sign your child in. At 8:00am we send our morning children to class. The Kindergarten and 1st graders will be walked to class.
After school our staff will sign children in. Parents will be responsible for signing children out at the end of their day. You are charged according to the sign-in sheet. Any child signed in after school until 3:30pm will be charged $2.00. If you are not able to pick your child up by 3:00pm, they will be signed into Extended Care for their safety.
Your child may bring clothes to change into after school. They must wear socks if they wear sandals, no spaghetti straps, no bare midriffs, no spandex shorts and no inappropriate printing on the T-shirts.
Toys may be brought from home, but it is at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost, broken or stolen items. All cubbies and hanger areas must be cleaned out daily. Nothing should be left in Extended Care. We have a lost and found, and encourage you to check it often.
The teachers and aides observe carefully the characteristics and needs of each child. Respect and loving attention is given to all. Our facility is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Payment Policy
All extended care fees are due and payable at the end of each month. Please check with an extended care worker or the school office for your balance. A copy of your bill is available on request.

Come join us for an action packed summer. You will receive monthly calendars with:
FIELD TRIPS
FOOD DAYS
THEME DAYS
PARK DAYS
POOL TRIPS
WATER DAYS and other fun activities for your child.Please sign-up in Extended Care, get the monthly packets via the links above or pick one up in Extended Care.
Calendars will be provided of each month’s activities.
Choose the activities your child will participate in and prepay the monthly activity fee.
We are not able to refund or credit any events paid for and not attended.Field trips will be on Tuesdays and Fridays in June, July and August.
Your child will need to attend at least 3 days during the week to participate on a field trip.PAYMENT FOR SUMMER DAY CARE WILL BE EACH MONDAY.
Every Monday let us know the days your child will attend and pay for those days.
Example: If your child will attend 3 days -- on Monday you will write a check for $78.00.If you need to drop-in on any extra day, you are welcome to do so.
You will be charged the $30.00 drop-in fee for the extra days.FEES:
$24.00 under 6 hours per day $26.00 over 6 hours per day $30.00 drop-in
2nd Child discount - $2 per day off above rates
3rd Child discount - $4 per day off above ratesExtended Care is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday.
